What’s that you can see? I love how you are able to tell me!
What did you say? Oh yes! I agree. What an interesting conversation we are having
Spend time talking to your baby, listening to the sounds and vocalisations that they are making. When you hear these sounds that your baby is making, respond as though you are in conversation together. Use words, phrases, and facial expressions with your baby to show interest in what they are communicating to you.

Visit the park and listen in – it's interesting to hear how people talk to each other
A kiss from me to you – it's good to see you're smiling too
Watch my mouth move – yours will start to move like this soon

Baby bonding – making connections through the use of your voice
When you talk to your baby, have moments where you deliberately pause. Your baby may start to move or be vocal when you stop. Respond to their sounds and movements by continuing to talk.
